The Fall Meeting of SMWGA was held on October 8, 2008 in the banquet room at Val Halla. After committee reports were made, Jim Farrell, N.E. Regional Affairs, USGA, presented an overall view of golf in today's economic climate, as well as a consideration of some rules, such as drop areas and T scores.
Outgoing President, Terri Messer, received enthusuastic applause and thanks for her work the last two years. Terri then introduced the new president, Kate Boyle.
With her first job as new president, Kate happily awarded prizes to the 2008 victors. |
