The SMWGA Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for women who live in Southern Maine, have demonstrated an interest in golf, and who are furthering their education. Donations to the SMWGA Scholarship Fund are tax deductible and welcomed at any time. We appreciate your commitment to our mission since our founding in 1976 to promote participation in women’s golf in Southern Maine.

Congratulations to our 2012 Scholarship Recipients

 The scholarship committee has awarded $750 scholarships to six young women.
The recipients are:

 Meghan Bickford, of Cumberland, Methodist College

 Greta Castonguay, of Turner, Susquehanna University

 Maria Cianchette of Falmouth, Elon University

 Megan Maguire of South Berwick, University of Southern Maine

 Katherine Merrill of Cumberland, Mount Holyoke College

 Karli Soracco of Turner, University of Maine-Orono.

 All of the women have responded with enthusiasm and appreciation.
